December 21, 2024 - President Jay Laylin has announced his intentions to create a department to help study and curb domestic violence, including establishing programs aimed at targeting this crime in areas with high percentage of domestic violence and other violent crimes.

December 17, 2024 - President Jay Laylin has officially appointed Jesstopia's ambassador to the United States and named David Barria for that role. As of now, James Sedhoff has held the role, and the President announced it was time to replace him as Ambassador. David Barria will take office immediately, skirting the regular Senate confirmation process due to the Senate being in recess.

December 14, 2024 - President Jay Laylin has called on House Speaker Gretchen LeWolf to step down as House Speaker after her criminal case was made public. He said that her role as House Speaker has been used to make Jesstopia a public killing ground for terrorists and illegal immigrants. He said that her criminal case will also disrupt House functions. December 12, 2024 - President Jay Laylin says the border crisis may not have been as bad if previous administrations had focused on border security and immigration enforcement, citing the McCallum-Loretti Administrations lack of strong border security and immigration policy. He also said that border security should be top of mind for any administration.

The President then said that his administration is looking for ways to lock down the border, secure Jesstopians and their jobs, and allow them to build families in the United States Of Jesstopia.

December 8, 2024 - President Jay Laylin announced that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin has come to a tentative agreement to formally declare the war between Russia and the United States Of Jesstopia. The decision was formalized around 5:00 PM, and the formal treaty was signed by President Laylin and President Putin.

December 5, 2024 - President Jay Laylin announced this morning that he had signed Executive Action 0005, which temporarily banned schools and other educational institutions from teaching transgender ideology in their facilities. This executive action extends beyond just primary, elementary and high schools, they extend to ALL places of learning.

December 3, 2024 - President Jay Laylin announced early this afternoon that he was proposing a spending package of 18 billion to aid border agents, workers and the Department of Border Security to aid in deporting 25 million illegals that have entered Jesstopian borders in an illegal manner. The President also said that he was planning to send several other funding packages to build more border security detention centers across the United States Of Jesstopia.

November 28, 2024 - President Jay Laylin has signed executive orders that will prevent biological males who "identify as transgender," from competing in women's sports. He argued that the biological makeup of a man is significantly greater than that of a biological women, giving the man a unfair advantage in terms of speed, power, strength and endurance, thus ripping hard working women's medals and awards away from in favor of catering to mentally ill people who think that they are any gender but their biological one. That ends with President Jay Laylin.

November 22, 2024 - President Jay Laylin has officially appointed Vice President Cole Bindle to oversee border operations and ensure that his Deportation efforts are being carried out. He was also appointed to ensure that immigration and customs are not granting entry to illegal immigrants.

Vice President Cole Bindle says that he will "work to ensure the homeland remains secure, and that he vows to carry out mass deportation of illegals in this country."

November 21, 2024 - President Jay Laylin has signed six temporary orders reversing previous orders allowing transgenders from using the opposite gender bathrooms of their biological gender. These orders come as a response to the Transgender community taking advantage of previously signed legislation that allows "any person who identifies as a female(or male), to use that gender's bathroom, regardless of biological sex." The order was signed by former President John McCallum on March 19, 2022. 

November 18, 2024 - Late this evening, President Jay Laylin announced that Gerald McFarland would serve as the Director Of The Presidential Protective Service, also appointed Rolando Diaz to serve as the Deputy Director Of The PPS. They will assume office on November 20, 2024, and will replace interim director David Calmarro and Lacey Davidson. Both will serve until November 20, 2024.

November 18, 2024 - President Jay Laylin says that after the war is over, Russia will pay for their role in the long and costly war that also was the deadliest war in the modern history, only second to the Afghanistan war.

November 16, 2024 - Earlier today, President Jay Laylin issued a statement recommitting that the United States Of Jesstopia will continue strong relations with Cambridge and vowed that the two nations would carry on strong trade-relations, something that Cambridge was concerned would end when President Laylin took office.
