Statement From Nancy Yates On Her Departure From The Laylin Administration | Released May 12, 2026

May 12, 2026 - Following my announcement that I would be departing the Laylin Administration on October 11, 2025. There are several key details I would like to share with you all about my departure and what's next for the Press Office following my official departure.

First and foremost, I want to clarify that there is no bad blood between the President or other cabinet officials and this exit is solely to allow me to take on my new role at Nexus Network. This incredible job and working at Nexus will be next to impossible and I want someone who can focus solely on delivering the President's message to the Jesstopian people.

The date of my departure from the Administration has remained heavily guarded from media and other new sources. I am now ready to release the official date that I will leave the Nationalist House Press Office. My departure from the administration will take place on June 11, 2026, with Jordie Mackland assuming office that same day.

It has been an honor to be able to Represent the President and his administration to the media. I thank President Laylin for his friendship, and most importantly his leadership of our great country. I am truely humbled by the honor that was given by me to the President nearly a year and half ago. I look forward to my new role, and remember the good times we had together. My departure from the Laylin administration will further my career out of politics.
