This act actively seeks to artificially lower the inflation rate for a temporary amount of time. President Laylin issued this act proposal, to help lower the rate of inflation until mid-late 2025. The act will work by lowering the cost of everyday items including gas, food, clothing, healthcare, and medication prescriptions. 

This act will work to cut wasteful government spending, including sending money to foreign nations, with the help of the oversight of the Department Of The Treasury. Inflation is at an all time high, and that is inpart, due to reckless Nationalist spending, that has crippled the paychecks of hard working, hard earning Jesstopians, who are now struggling to feed their families.

This act will require all spending proposals to be as transparent as possible, and where possible, require Government sponsors to disclose where and when the money is going to be spent. This act will help maintain accountability of where government is spending taxpayer money

On November 27, 2024, President Laylin sent a bill proposal to the leaders of both the House and Senate, with the purpose of fast tracking his economic relief package that will be known as the 2024 Inflation Reduction Act. The bill was drafted and announced back on November 19, 2024. The House will vote on the bill first, and if it passes, will be sent to the Senate for a second vote where consent of the Senate will send the bill to the President's desk to be signed.

President Jay Laylin is set to release bill proposal to House and Senate leadership tomorrow morning which will work to prevent "overarching," and "incredible wasteful spending of Government." The President introduced the proposal on November 19, 2024. The Bill will be sent to Congress where both the House and Senate will vote on it, and if it passes, will be sent to President Laylin's desk.
