Nomination Of Former JIA Special Division Tony Verdana As DNI

March 11, 2025 - Today I announce that I have selected Tony Verdana to serve as the Director of National Intelligence. Mr. Verdana has had over 20 years in the Jesstopian Intelligence Agency and other various law enforcement agencies. He successfully led the uncovering of the assassination plot by Russia of then-President John McCallum back on March 31, 2022.

His role in preventing the assassination plot gained him extreme praised and several promotions within the Jesstopian Intelligence Agency. He was selected as the Next Director Of National Intelligence, because he will bring security and protection to the people of the United States Of Jesstopia through his work as DNI, working to uncover threats to the people of this country.

I am honored to have him join our efforts to secure our country and work to ensure our national interests are protected from foreign adversaries. I hope to have him confirmed quickly, and with no issues.
