President Laylin Statement On Mexican Travel Ban
(This also serves as the official transcript from the President's speech delivered in the Presidential Address Room on February 18, 2025 at 12:05 AM.)
February 18, 2025 - Today, very early this morning I issued a full travel ban on Mexican citizens, nationals and other passport holders from entering the United States Of Jesstopia. I also implemented a blanket travel ban, meaning that Mexicans that attempt to fly to any other country that provides service and flights directly into the United States Of Jesstopia, will be stopped from boarding those flights to the United States Of Jesstopia.
Already, we saw the FAA issue that any Mexican passports with plans to travel to Jesstopia, will be barred from entering those aircraft. Canada, France and Britain also introduced other measures to ensure that these individuals don't board Jesstopia-bound flights into the country. We thank these countries for their cooperation.
The ban also stops flights from other Spanish Speaking countries including Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba. All Hispanic countries have already been notified of my order today. They have been receptive of my orders, and my hope is that we continue to push for border security and work collectively to reform border entry and immigration policy and procedures to ensure the stability and safety of our nation's citizens.
Federal officials across the globe are likely to respond negatively to the travel bans, but they have no jurisdiction of the people and borders of the United States Of Jesstopia, and I have no obligation to them, to preserve their feelings, thus these bans will likely span the duration of my Presidency.
US President Donald Trump said that he is working to ensure Mexican individuals traveling through US airspace don't not board Jesstopian-bound flights, and says he will cooperate with our efforts to protect our borders. Further, I will look at other countries we may ban travel on at a later date, sometime this week. We are consistently assessing threats of mass illegal migration from most of our world's foreign countries.
Further details can be found on the Department Of Homeland Security website, which can be accessed here. Our administration will continue to provide updates on the travel ban. There will be exceptions to this ban, but those will come at a later date.
Signed,
Jay Laylin
President Of The United States Of Jesstopia
