President Laylin Nominates Jane Maycom For Director Of The National School Safety Commission

February 27, 2025 - Today I am announcing that I have nominated Jane Maycom to serve as the 2nd Director Of The National School Safety Commission, a role that has been held by McCallum-appointed Robert Long since 2022. Maycom has been a key adviser and advocate to Governor Joshua Adamson on school safety. She has played a crucial role in pushing for more funding for school safety programs. I am pleased to have her joining the administration following her confirmation by the Senate.
