President Laylin Statement On New Orleans Attack
January 1, 2025 - My thoughts and prayers can not be expressed enough, regarding the New Orleans' New Year's Day tragedy, where a man struck pedestrians killing 15. As we now know, the man was was an American, who had rented a Ford pickup truck and drove it to the new year's celebration. He rammed event-goers killing 15, before shooting at police, where he died on scene. Police found an ISIS flag on the back of the pickup truck and discovered that he had recently converted to Islam.
At this time the United States Of Jesstopia sends its prayers to all involved, and we are hoping to hear if this was an isolated incident or if this is part of a bigger plan. Our Federal Crimes Investigative Service has been in constant contact with the United States Federal Bureau Of Investigations to understand why this happened and if any future attacks should be expected.Â
Violence has no place in society and this event is as heartbreaking as it is angering. The suspect was a maniac, who, by the grace of god, was killed by police so that he couldn't kill anyone further. Our prayers are numerous and are being sent to the people of New Orleans. A day that was supposed to be full of fun, turned into a major tragedy, and the loss the people of New Orleans have, can be felt throughout the world. May the victims of this heinous attack, rest forever in glory and peace.
Signed,
Jay Laylin
President Of The United States Of Jesstopia
