Abortion Rights
On June 24, 2022, The SCOTUS overruled Roe V. Wade, a landmark case the protected a woman's right to an abortion, which is cited in 410 U.S. 113 (1973). Civil unrest and criticism of the decision comes from all around the world. President McCallum as well as Vice President Richard Banks, concluded that women have the right to abort a child in any circumstance that falls within an ethical reason(i.e Rape, Incest, Medical Condition, etc). Roe v. Wade protected those rights, as a woman should have the right to choose to abort an unborn child. Furthermore, President McCallum has held firm about ensuring that Jesstopian Women have the access to abortion level care and subsequent following the abortion. More news and information will be provided here when it becomes available.
