President Laylin Delivers Remarks On 25th Anniversary Of 9/11
September 11, 2026 - 25 years ago on this great rock we call home, the United States was attacked by a foreign evil, Al Qaeda, who slammed four plans into the United States. Two plans crashed into the World Trade Center's North and South Towers. Later, one plane was crashed into the United States Pentagon. One Plane was crashed as heroic passengers stepped in to fight the hijackers. It crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
On this day we remember the innocent lives lost and the changes this day brought globally. We think of those families who never got to see their loved again. We also reflect on the changes in air travel around the world that came from the horrific day.
I was 11 when those planes crashed into the towers, the Pentagon and the brave American patriots who refused to let the Hijackers crash their plane into any more American buildings. They died heros and for that we remember the courage, bravery and toughness in a day that would scar the world permanently from that day forward.
Here in Jesstopia we watched as those beautiful souls jumped for their lives in those towers as they sought to escape the insufferable pain of the heat and flames left by the airplanes that once flew the skies of New York. We saw the families torn apart by terrorists but we more importantly saw the grit and power of the American people who held their bootstraps tight and got to work supporting not just themselves but each other.
As I said, I was 11, and I remember we were in 6th Grade Social Studies class when our teacher wheeled a large Television which we watched for the rest of the day. Teachers had been crying, at the time, not understanding the significance of the event unfolding. Students were picked up early by parents, schools across America closed early and were cancelled during the week of the September 11th.
Today, as Jesstopians, remember the lives lost on that tragic day and we remember how Americans and the world came together to honor those we lost while celebrating the victories that have since come from this horrible day. The United States Of Jesstopia continues to be committed to fighting terrorism and we are proud to be partnering with the United States Department Of Homeland Security to continue that mission and continue to bring Justice to the innocent victims of 9/11.
Together our futures will be safer, brighter and better together. I look forward to working with the United States for the next couple of years and beyond to make our world safer and fight terrorism in every form for the rest of time.
Solmnely,
Jay Laylin
President Of The United States Of Jesstopia
